Dear readers of Family Medicine and Community Health,
You are invited to submit an article to our journal Family Medicine and Community Health (FMCH).
Family Medicine and Community Health (FMCH) seeks to open an informed international dialogue among family health/general practice researchers and clinicians globally. Articles covering research and investigation in developing countries are of special interest, as are emerging trends in all parts of the world. In the past year we have published a number of excellent special issues guest edited by experts in their fields. One example is Vol. 4 Issue 2 which was led by Prof. Nigel Mathers of the University of Sheffield, UK, on the topic of global health.
FMCH was launched in 2013 as an open access journal with the goal of publishing rigorously peer-reviewed articles focusing on epidemiology, public policy and public health, chronic disease management, education and training and community health delivery in family medicine worldwide. The journal offers high visibility and discoverability through its open access publishing approach and is indexed in popular global services such as SCOPUS, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and EBSCOhost the most-used, premium online information resource for tens of thousands of institutional libraries worldwide, supporting millions of end users.
The journal is funded by the Chinese Hospital Association and the Chinese General Practice Press. As Editor-in-Chief I am honoured to have Dr. Roger Zoorob, Chair of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Dr. Hui Yang, Senior Research Fellow of School of Primary Health Care Faculty of Medicine at Monash University as our Deputy Editors-in-Chief.
