China-Netherlands Cooperation Project Initiation Conference was held on November 29-30, 2016 in Capital Medical University, Beijing, China.
The conference mainly focused on the proposal of the collaborative carrying out of an EU research project HCO-07 – European Commission Horizon 2020 (http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020/) focusing on chronic disease and health intervention both in Europe and China. Team members of the project are University of Cambridge, Karolinska Institute, University of Manchester, University of Amsterdam, French National Center for Scientific Research, and Capital Medical University.
Attendees of the conference are professionals from the University of Amsterdam, Capital Medical University, Capital Medical University affiliated hospitals, China National Office for Cerebrovascular Diseases Prevention and Control, Beijing Neurosurgical Institute, and key community health centers in Beijing.
Professor Wei Wang and Professor Eric Moll van Charante co-chaired the conference.
Both European partners and China scientists agreed to initiate this large scale community-based health project in both Europe and China.
